No generic plan. Care is shaped around symptoms, history, goals, and what makes sense clinically.
Treatment may include medication, therapy, or both, based on what fits the person and the problem.
In-person visits and telehealth help make care easier to start and easier to continue.
We accept several major insurance plans, including Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Health, and Optum. Self-pay is also available. If you're not sure about coverage, reach out before your visit and we'll help you figure out the next step.
Mental health care should feel careful, steady, and grounded in actual listening. Not rushed. Not vague. Not like you have to prove you're struggling enough to be taken seriously. Mid-South Psychiatric Services provides psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. The work starts with understanding the person, not just the symptoms.
"Caring for the mind is just as important as caring for the body, both deserve your full attention."

Good psychiatric care starts with paying attention. Symptoms matter. So do sleep, stress, family life, school, work, past treatment, medical history, and the pieces people often leave out until someone asks the right question.
The goal is simple. Figure out what’s going on. Make a sound plan. Help patients move toward more stability and a better day-to-day life.
We provide psychiatric care for:
Psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children experiencing behavioral concerns, mood changes, attention difficulties, anxiety, or other challenges affecting home, school, and daily life.
Care for teens navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood swings, stress, trauma, and other concerns that interfere with school, relationships, and functioning.
Psychiatric assessment and treatment for adult patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychosis, and other conditions affecting daily life.
You don’t need to wait until things get worse. If you’re looking for psychiatric care for yourself, your child, or your teen, the first step is the assessment form.
